Travel Tips for Convention Week

When you arrive at MSP International Airport, look for airport and Minneapolis Saint Paul 2008 Host Committee volunteers to help you with anything you need. Be sure to stop by the Host Committee welcome booths in baggage claim and pick up a snack.

If your delegation will have a charter bus pick up or drop off at the airport please contact Kiersten Schroeder (kschroeder@msp2008.com) to arrange logistics with the airport. Some hotels do offer airport shuttles so be sure to check and arrange transportation ahead of your arrival or departure.

On Friday, Sept. 5, plan ahead for transportation back to the airport. Many Bloomington hotels offer airport shuttles or you can work with your hotel to arrange taxi service in advance. Plan to be at the airport early. Once you are inside security the airport has special programming planned to entertain you before your flight.
