Spark24, a non-stop marathon of free entertainment, kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. and goes until Sunday, Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. at Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
No Minnesota summer is complete without a trip to the Minnesota State Fair. Attracting more than a million visitors every year, the State Fair offers a mix of animals, arts and crafts, games, rides and live music. And be sure to sample the State Fair tradition: every food you can imagine on a stick. The Minnesota State Fair runs Aug. 21 through Sept. 1.
